Adam from ‘O2’ sales department. absolute rubbish. admitted they were not part of o2 when challenged but offering promos on their behalf. maybe i’m watching too much jim browning and scam baiter on youtube but that has scam written all over it. if you want to challenge them and keep them on the phone without giving you details you could save someone else getting scammed
Just called me now. Didn't connect immediately but waited so as soon as it did connect I hung up before they could speak. Felt like a scam and when I've searched it here, clear it is. Blocked.
me too offered 30% off account for next 6mths but I've only got 3 months left of contract, they sent a text message saying from O2 UK and asked me for the onetime pass code sent, even though the text explicitly says do not give out the onetime passcode have reported to O2
Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. AVOID SCAM - I told them they got through to the Police Department and they were quick to hang up lol
Called this evening said they were from ee Asked me to verify my email offered me half price plan email looked genuine said to do while on the phone I said it was to reset my password? He said it was to download new app To put in the password Ee10001 I said no I didn't click the link Or enter the password he told me too Think it's a scam
Saying energy company when I rang them back Indian scammers
Called from this number today. Says from area Lapworth. Rang back as was waiting for call from someone else. Machine answered saying they're my energy company. They're not!
Could not understand a word he was saying so hung up
CLAIM TO BE FROM 02 WITH A SPECIAL DISCOUNT - SCAM
Claimed to be from Three and reviewing price plans so they will lower my monthly payments to £25. Asked how much I pay for my phone and I said they should know that if they're from Three, I asked if they had my details and she kept repeating she was from Three. Definitely a scam.

Its currys number. But might be spoofed. In my case it was legit.
