Knew us by name said they were to do with green energy and did we own our home. If you aren't a homeowner they leave it there.

They just keep hanging up when you answer!!! Did have another asking "Is that Mr Williams" or something. Just a load of old shite to get you talking. I actually enjoy winding them up - however they are now hanging up when they hear me!

This number has called before, about a week ago I think. Left a gabbled and incomprehensible message which I ignored

A polite lady (who I’m sure I’ve spoken with before), calling about green energy help, had my name and address, asked if she could check and update my details. I told her I’d previously asked to have my name removed from their list, she apologised and said she would ensure that was done.

Caller said they were about help for home renovations. As I’m not home owner I said I wasn’t interested and hung up but I was suspicious it was genuine.

When I answered the call, a polite-sounding woman with UK accent asked if I was “Mr Jones”. When I said “No, sorry” she hung up without saying anything else. There’s a Mr Jones associated with my landline that dozens of organisations (some I knew to be genuine) have tried to reach at my number over the last 10 years, so today’s call may well have been genuine.

Has phoned me 2Xin 2 weeks ...knew my name ?? ,mentioned help with energy saving methods etc...and asked if I owned the property. This is the same person(UK accent) I had told previously that I was not the house owner. I think he was aware I was elderly, and possbly scammable.(Not). Mrs E.W.

They called again and hung up quickly when they realised they had called before

Called me claiming to be "help for homes" distributing money. When I suggested they are cold calling and didn't check, they hung up quickly.
