This is a scam call from Liverpool. They buy telephone numbers in bulk and as soon as you block their number, which I did yesterday, they change the number and call again within days. They called me from this new number today. Do not answer 0151 numbers unless you recognise who is calling you. Just block these numbers.

Asked if i owned a car with a certain reg number....where did they get my car reg number and mobile phone number from ? Told me I was able to claim compensation for my car due to diesel claims. I then said "How can I...my car is over 20 years old and its a petrol car ??" They then said I can claim money as I had taken out finance with the car and had been over charged with the interest on the HP loan. To which I replied " I doubt it....I paid cash for the car 20 years go....and also sold that car 15 years ago....so how on earth can you state this ?" The operator then got her Supervisor on the phone to talk to me.....I then asked how they obtained my car registration number and telephone number under the Data Protection Act.....the phone line went dead !

Calling from aLiverpool number but said she was in Manchester. Had my name and vehicle details. As I have a petrol car wanted to talk about overcharged finance deal

Called me and confirmed who I was, but wouldn't confirm who they were. Diesel emissions con. I asked for an e-mail to confirm who they were, but I was told they do not do that. TWASTS. AVOID AVOID AVOID
