01473 214800 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Keep getting calls from this number to my mobile. Not sure how they got my number as I am quite protective of it! Very annoying. I suspect it is about motor insurance - but I do not give my mobile number on websites?

Called about renewing motorcycle insurance but I don't have one!

Got a call from the number but didn't answer. I typed it into google and it says that the number is a scam number

I got a call from 01473214800 today on my mobile which I picked up because it has a local, Ipswich code. A man talking at high-speed told me "this isn't a cold call." My husband spoke to him as he had been the one who originally enquired about motor insurance and said, clearly and loudly, "I am not interested". He handed the mobile back to me and the man kept on spouting about 'saving you money' and asking 'when is your insurance due for renewal?'. He wouldn't stop so I asked to speak to his supervisor (Keith, he said) which he resisted, asking 'Why? Don't you want to save money?'. Finally he said. "Hold on" and after a long, silent wait, a man calling himself Keith came on the line. He was very polite, said he was removing my telephone details as we spoke, apologised twice for upsetting us and said that he would investigate; he told me that all calls are recorded and he would listen to the tape to see what had gone wrong. I thanked him and rang off. It remains to be seen (or heard) whether that worked and I get a call from them again!

Getting calls from here because I was searching for car insurance. Even though I always make sure to not agree to telephone contact.

01473214800,called me yesterday and today, just now. If names and numbers aren't in my phone, then I don't answer. I took out car insurance yesterday and after looking on you w'site,glad I didn't answer. It's none of their business if I took out an insurance policy. I keep getting calls from these people.ive blocked the but it still shows that their calling.atleast i know who they are now. Excelent idea for a web site this though.keep up the good work

Called 7 times in one day, I just abused them but they still called until I blocked them.

Been getting calls atleast once a day for a few days now so I was worried that it was important! Thank god I found this website to let me know it's not important, and to put my mind at ease!

These guys from the insurance company have been calling my mobile number every day for the past week. I have now blocked this number. They do not take NO for an answer so my advice is not to enter into any dialogue with them and use the insurance comparison sites instead.

This caller called me 10 minutes ago to my mobile and asked for my boyfriend by name! It really confused me but I knew it was a cold call. My boyfriend never puts my mobile number down for anything so I'd like to know how they got my mobile number linked to him other than through our address and from where ! Very annoyed

Answer the call but say nothing, just put the phone down until they get fed up and hang up. Alternatively when they ask to speak to whoever, just say "one moment please, I'll go fetch them", then put it down until they get fed up. I had one girl waiting on the line for over 8 minutes once, saying "helloooo" down the phone at me every once in a while. Peed myself laughing at her persistence. At least it runs up these companies bills. If everyone does that then maybe these annoying ar*eholes will go out of business.
