Phoned claiming to be from EON and wanting to send me a new contract for our electricity. I asked why and he said because they provide our electricity. I told him they didn't and we got into a "yes we do", "no you don't" for a few rounds. So close to telling him exactly where to go, in no uncertain terms, when he hung up. As a business owner, I know who provides our utilities as I deal with those contracts.

Rang Claiming to be from E-ON wanting to speak to the person involved in organising contracts , they only had the postcode and address . when challenged she was using the same script over and over. When i said we dont use E-on they said they were from British Gas !

Claims to be Eon. Didn't even get my name right. Scam

Claim to be from E-ON. Would mot send e-mails to prove identity. Also using 01896 330225 to call with same script.

I called the number back 4 times. I didn't say anything. But there's an automated voice that answers straight away upon ringing. Says the same script. Pauses, waits for you to answer or converse, which I didn't. It then hung up on me. I wonder if speaking to it will trigger a real person response. Very scammy and spammy. Avoid and block.
