Claimed to be an energy advisor, and asked if I was the home owner. On being told it was a rented property just hung up. My number is registered either way the preference society, so even if legitimate I should not be receiving cold calls.
Rang my work asking if I was the homeowner here for energy advice.
Said they were an energy advisor covering my area. I get these calls regularly using different numbers, the first question always is “am i the house holder “so i now end the call early. I have marked it a telemarketer, it is harassing but i don’t know if it’s a scam or not as i choose not to get into conversation with them.
