number displayed as a Scottish number, the caller claimed to be from the car phone warehouse, portobello road London.
said they were currys when i asked them what company he didn't answer he eventually said currys and said iPhone 13 deal so I wasted their time
Just received a call from this number which is unknown to me, came up as from Langholm Scotland, I didn’t answer it and immediately cut them off
Female with Indian agent spoke after a pause and just kept saying hello when I kept saying who is this then she hung up. I have now blocked the number as I’m sick is scammers. I work on 999 calls so answering a call at work means I have to leave the control room to a quiet space as private calls and use of a mobile are not permitted. Annoys me when calls like this pull me away from my job u necessarily but as I have an elderly mum I have to check it’s nothing important regarding her. It’s a shame when people like this impact on peoples lives. Plus my mother inlaw was scammed over the phone recently and lost 9k . She has dementia so I’m obviously now on high alert over things like this
THEY SAID CARPHONE WAREHOUSE BUT I HANG UP
DO. NOT. ANSWER. If you answer your number becomes ‘hot’ and is passed on for more scams.
Said they were from o2 with an “amazing” upgrade deal for me. Definitely a scam. Couldn’t answer any questions about who I was or anything
this number tried call my mobile didnt answer as flash up as pos fraud call. so have nw block number to stop them calling
Didn’t answer just read your comments glad I didn’t Seems it was a spam so I shall block it
Missed call from them: I rang back : all circuits where busy: if it was important they would have followed up with voicemail/ text/ email so ignored it.
Given this number has been searched over 1200 times in just a few hours it's clearly spam. Didn't answer. Blocked.
By coincidence, call came from our family's location in Scotland, so felt I should answer. No-one on phone when I answered, and a return call gave the automated answer "all circuits are busy"! So definite spam, as already reported by others
Said was from ‘car phone warehouse’ I don’t have any of their products so hung up.
Called on a relatively new number I have not given to many people as yet. So was suspicious and did not answer. Other comments have confirmed it is a spam caller and the number has been searched 1146 times since it was reportedly starting calling from today 2.2.2022. This has been blocked and suggest you do also.
Didn't Answer, don't answer calls that I do not recognise number...block the number!!!
Very annoying, don't want these type of callers
The classic initial pause of a scam as the call re-routed/connected. When I asked him: "what's my name?" he replies: "Oh gosh!". Me: "Sorry, but I have to accept your first answer" [cut call]
When I asked who she was calling from she hung up
He sounded like a voice from India. I didn't speak and cut him off.
