I didnt answer in time, called the number back and got recorded message saying they are a web designing company. I hung up after hearing that.

Said they were from Sky network - in Elgin?

From O2 allegedly. Wanted my email address. From Elgin. ‘Mary’ with Indian accent. Gave me another number to ring if I had any questions: 0141 628 5511. I put phone down. Rang back. I would not give info

Definitely a scam, as soon as I mentioned this they hung up.

When I answered the call the person was speaking a foreign language in what I think was an Indian accent. Said she was calling from O2 and was offering a 40% discount. She then asked me to tell her how much I am paying for my contract. I said if you are calling from O2 you would already know that. She said she was calling from marketing dept so didn’t know I said if you are calling from O2 what is my name and she put the phone down. Not sure what the scam is but it definitely wasn’t O2 calling.

Didn't get to the phone in time to answer, but don't know anyone from Elgin! Looks like it is a scam call.

Only answered cos I was expecting a call. It was the usual Indian voice, claiming to be calling me from "your mobile phone company" offering me a discount. Strange they would do that when I only just took out the contract 3 weeks ago. I hung up and blocked the number.

Fake O2 Caller scam

I was 3rd to report this number -- i don't know anyone in elgin -- I am also not with O2

Woman calling herself Jennifer with an Indian accent. Said she was from O2. Call location shown as Elgin in the north of Scotland, which I doubt was correct.

Calimed to be from O2 offering a 30% discount.
