Numerous calls stating I’m due a 40% refund due to poor O2 signal. Asian call centre sounds. Persistent, using numerous other London and Elgin code numbers.
Very dodgy line took a few seconds for anyone to speak. An Indian gentleman speaking very hard to understand but the gist was that he was from O2 offering me an offer! Very hard to understand due to line quality & accent so just politely said I wasn’t interested & hung up. Blocked the number!
Trying to tell me I'm getting 40% off my next bill, attempting to keep me on the phone for as long as possible. They knew that I was O2. Really unclear if this was a scam or just a foreign support centre trying to gather feedback. I gave feedback on the service and then hung up.
