Called today - no message left. Like the above callers, I am opening a new business but am not yet in the premises. Must have got my phone number from social media announcements yesterday. Don’t know what the caller wanted but was listed as suspected spam.
I think I am getting spammy calls as a result of setting up a page on Facebook. The number they are calling I used to set up a business page on FB / Insta and Whatsapp. Then I started getting calls before the business even started trading. The number is not yet being advertised so these are the only places they are listed as a number attached to our business. Pretty scummy but I love the BLOCK feature :) fella from north east in the pub describes similar call to mine. I didn't give her long enough to waffle just hung up and insta blocked.
I run a pub in the north east. The guy knew my name and the address of the business but didn’t give the name. He told me that they’d been made aware of a new tenancy coming up and wanted to know the date we would be taking over. I told him that we’d been there for over a year and asked what he wanted. He told me that he wanted to discuss the energy provision for the premises as the ‘register’ shows no supplier. We’ve had a provider from day one. I don’t know where he got my name from as my husband deals with all of this. Told him we’re sorted and hung up.
no message left, no idea who it is. I don't know anyone in Darlington. does anyone know if it is scam call?
