Caller claimed to be from vodafone, I replied "hello, how can I help yaaaaa toodee" and he hanged up

called and said they are EE, that’s obviously not true, it’s definitely scammers so ignore, they’ve rang me a few times so i’ve blocked the number

Answered and had heavy breathing and then asked what I was wearing

as above: Said they were from O2 offered a 40% promotion, then asked what I usally pay, and then I hung up.

Said they were from EE offering me a promotion of 40% off, they then asked me what I usually pay but surely if they were from EE they would know this so already, so I hung up! Suspected Scam

Claimed to be from Mobile Phones Direct offering me the latest iphone or android with yada yada for £40 a month. When I asked him where he had got my number from, I was told that they (Mobile Phones Direct) had been given the number (but no other details) from my existing mobile provider, because they are provided with these by O2, Vodafone, Virgin, EE etc. When I told him I am registered on the TPS site so I will follow this up and they can be charged over this, he became very sheepish, wished me a good day and hung up. TL:DR - Harassing pressure sales call, speaking fast so you agree without realising it. SPAM, do not answer.
