I know it's dodgy, because (a) Nationwide don't ring people and (b) I haven't got a loan. Now blocked together with 08004643138.

I had a message saying my account had been blocked as someone tried to take money out my account. I never answered it. Then they have constantly keep phoning. Because nationwide do not things this way. 15th may 2025. This number needs to be put out of use and blocked.

Pretending to be a Fraud Alert from Nationwide. The clever thing about it is that Nationwide had ACTUALLY blocked attempted purchases of Bitcoin, Pizza and from EBay. Nasty criminals trying a second time

I got a urgent call on house phone left message to say my bank card had been used fraudulenty I am 72 years old so I panicked and rang my bank they said no transaction on my account today I cried I don’t want this to happen anyone else

this number left voice mail saying fraudulent activity on my nationwide account, phone nationwide they did not sent this message, beware

Suggested number to call back on genuine call from Nationwide fraud prevention. Confirmed by calling on published number.

Called on Tuesday, January 5th 2016. Automated voice message left, to the effect that Nationwide Building Society had spotted and declined a VISA debit card payment request because it was outside my typical spending patterns. Checked the Nationwide web site but couldn't find this number on their site, so called the number listed (on website) for fraud and jumped through a few departments. It was indeed a bona fide call. Looks legitimate but NEVER call back a number you can't verify!!!

I have had a call from this number purporting to be about card fraud

I received an automated call claiming to be from Nationwide anti fraud team, they got my last name right but my first sounded a bit strange. Called Nationwide they said they do use an automated feature but no note on my account so likely a dodgy call.
