01297 812239 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

The above comment is absolutely brilliant. It’s about time these scammers get their comeuppance. I ignored the call and have blocked.

Said they were from O2 and could beat my phone bill by 30%. Managed to keep them online for nearly 40 minutes by showing "genuine" interest, then told him I work for Sky and get my phone almost free. He wasn't amused and yelled at me that I'm "f*cking wasting my f*cking time" Maybe, but that's 40 minutes that you aren't stealing info and money from someone who falls for your BS.

Said he was from T mobile so I told him I was in the middle of getting a blow job and he still wanted to sell me air time. Seems to be a lot of Indians calling me from different STD codes all wanting to sell something or get information, I think these calls are being redirected from a IP service in India.

Claimed to be from EE offering me deals. Person spoke broken English and kept laughing for no reason.

Claimed to be from Three, offered a great deal for just £9!!! But couldn’t even type my email properly, unfortunately I gave them my email address, be careful it’s a spam

Have had it twice now on mobile, don’t really answer unknown numbers. Curry’s a lady told me she was from yesterday with a foreign accent ,sadly she spoke too quickly & couldn’t understand her ,call was terminated. And just had another call again from same number , guy this time could just about hear him ,but once he said Currys call was terminated

was dubious but answered the call as it is my work number and they hung up as soon as I said my name

Claimed to be from three offering me a free upgrade at reduced costs - wanted my email and details to send to.

Said from virgin...offering 30% off monthly bill...was expecting a call from virgin..So answered, but hung up after spiel, sounded not right

Distrust this number. Car phone Warehouse they said but don’t think so! We don’t have any contracts with them.. But I couldn’t understand a word being spoken as heavily accented. He tried to talk over me so I did the exact same thing and said he if wanted to call me he needed to explain why. He then told me to “shut up” and put phone down.

Scam...said they were from virgin, offering 30% off bill monthly..was expecting a call from virgin, so was almost taken in. But something felt iffy.

Called 5 mins ago. I answered but went quiet. Had several of these calls over last few days. All landlines all scams. Northampton

Had a missed call. Googled the number and saw all these comments.
