Got a an unsolicited call from a guy called Michael Benson today, claiming he vould get je £ 7,000 + against a 30 % fee once the money is in my bank account and he would email me details, which so far hasn't happened.
Thanks, I received a call from a guy called Michael Benson today claiming the same thing. - Said he would send details by email , which so far hasn't happened and nobody would ask for any payments until the money was jn my bank account. -
They keep ringing me, but I’ve been paid out by Barclays partner finance. You write to them they get back , no hassle.
Male called Jean Paul rang us stating he could get money back for a scam involving Monster Travel. Saying no win no fee but I don`t trust them!
Call was related to timeshare compensation, not the mis selling aspect but the monies that had been paid to the likes of legal firms who claim to be able to get compensation for timeshare mis selling. The name is "Michael Benson".
Said he called a few years ago. Offered to help relinquish timeshare and that our current solicitors were conning us because BPF were forced to pay us back our loans and solicitors didn't really need to do anything. He said he would email details but nothing yet. We have had many offers like this over the years and this sounds like yet another scam.
Offers assistance in claiming compensation from Barclay Partner Finance for a 30% cut in the settlement. They seem to follow the format of typical scams where a pleasant woman explains their strategy and wants to receive a call from a senior 'closer' the following day. I asked for full details to be sent me by email - initially agreed - but subsequently sidelined. Several attempts by Paul to contact me, but I don't trust them.
