Called my EE mobile claiming to be EE. Said my SIM card would be deactivated in a few days as part of a wider customer SIM replacement programme due to prior complaints about network issues. Offered to send a replacement 5G SIM. Sounded like a scam or sales call and I challenged him on it. Said I'd call EE directly and hung up. He called back almost immediately so cancelled call and dialed 150 and spoke to EE who confirmed my suspicion that this was not EE .. this is definitely a scam.
Rung me saying he was with EE and that my sim was going to be disconnected, hung up straight away as i’m not with EE and never once have been. Definitely a scam.
