Been getting calls from this number a couple of times over the past couple of days - no message. Blocked the number.

Rather than get angry with them, Have some fun with them!! Your less likely to get a recall. I've had numerous calls from this company about various things. THEM "Hello I'm calling about your PPI ME: fantastic I was going to ring you guys about making a claim. THEM: Really (rubbing hands together) well I can sort that for you today. Was it a loan? ME: no it is a claim THEM: yes but who was the claim against, which bank or loan provider? ME: neither, I was driving down the road and hit from behind was hit from behind by an uninsured driver. The impact of the crash caused my genitalia to slam into the steering column., since the accident I've been unable to urinate THEM: what's this got to do with your PPI Claim. ME: everything, the accident caused damage to my PEE-PEE EYE. You know the little eye hole you do a pee-pee out of was damaged.......... Hello?!!

Answered and they hung up.

I keep getting these calls from this number and i never answer them. Its decieving as it looks like a proper area code and not just an 0808 number which i never answer. Is there a way of getting this number blocked.

Cold call selling life insurance, 3 times in 1 day

Had a phone call from this number, trying to tell me i am paying over the top for my life insurance, but did not know who the company i was insured with, so they could not know this. I told them i did not know the company i was insured with as the paperwork was at home. They then asked me what bank my direct debit came out of for my life insurance! When i stated i wasnt telling them she got angry and hung up!

Ugh these ppl keep on bloody calling..! Thanks to Alan I now know who they are and I'll be calling that office in Carmarthen this morning, and along for the boss by name..! If they continue to call me I'm going to invoice them for interrupting several meetings and the loss of work time.! I got a call from that number a week ago about switching my energy provider. I told them i was fine with Scottish Power and the caller tried to get me to edf i said no and he hung up. Got the same call this morning at 9-40 asking me if i wanted yo switch to edf again. So i cut him of. This will keep happening unless somthing is done about it.

Missed the call. Tried to ring back but got a recorded message in an American accent saying 'I'm sorry, that is not a valid extension' What????

Just received a call from these guys - asked for me under my maiden name (9 years ago - apparently an 'admin error' on their side), and started rabbiting on about my existing life insurance policy. I told them that I had no idea what they were on about, and what they thought they were calling me about. Lady terminated call. Now blocked.

Very persistent shit trying to 'help reduce' my life insurance. I said I wouldn't deal with a cold caller and asked him to remove my number. He talked over me the whole time. I hung up. Now blocked. The thing that always really bugs me is when the use first name only as if they're you're best mate!

This number has called me several times and on the one occasion I answered the caller claimed that because of some changes to a government legislation with life insurance he had been instructed to review my life insurance policy? As the conversation developed it soon becomes clear to me that he is trying to sell me a new life policy with legal & General. I hung up at that point of realising and have since reported them to the FCA.

Been calling me all week. Finally answered and he wanted to review my life assurance. said he got my number from an insurance database. Todl him Id deal with my personal finances myself so he asked did i know what I was doing?! That was my cue to hang up. Next time I'll answer and just put the phone next to the TV :o)

Whoever is calling from this number is most likely not in the UK. Confused? I used to work for a telephone company and what they do is call from wherever they are and it automatically changes numbers when it gets to the exchange in England so if you block one number they will simply use a different number! Quoting from a scary film "It wont stop"

He started trying to sell so I told him his call was an intrusion and t take my number off their list. He carried on with his pitch and would shut up so I closed the call. At least they didn't hide the number, but these are unsolicited calls from an over persistent caller who does not respect your views. Needs stopping

Answered the call. The caller got my name wrong. Claimed they'd sourced information from a reputable source that I hadn't reviewed my life insurance. He couldn't tell me what the reputable source was that that passed on this personal and inaccurate information, not could he tell me where he'd got my phone number. "I'm just told to ring people up" "well I'm telling you to get of my phone and never ring it again." Blocked.

Called me and I didn't answer, of course they left no voicemail message. If someone wanted to contact you so importantly, they'd surely leave a message for you. Yet another number I need to block!

Decided not to answer, found out from this site that its most likely insurance sales. I would recommend not answering any unknown calls now since my wife had her sim hacked into and a bill of £80 as a result. If they want to get hold of you badly enough, they'll leave a voicemail. Google the number afterwards if youre not sure.

Rang me last night, some guy claiming to be called 'Mike' saying he wanted to pay me compensation for an accident I had - some £4,800 and needed my address so he can process it. I told him to do one and he said 'Just give me your f****n' address!" - Nice guy!
