Called my landline - BT flagged call as ?Nuisance. Caller hung up when answer phone cut in.

Called my landline. I never pick up if I don't recognise the number and my landline doesn't have voicemail so if it's bona fide and important the caller may try again or another way of getting me.

Female, foreign accent, said "hello, am I speaking to the man of the house" obviously spam or marketing so hung up.
