They hung up when I answered. I called the number back and it was a recorded msg say they were from the store in Basingstoke Vodafone? It said they will call back to tell me about new products available
Had a call from this number claiming to be the store in conjunction with Vodafone. Asked if I was happy with my Vodafone account and checking if they could help. When I said I had upgraded in June this year they said "Good, Are you making use of My Rewards through the App". They then wanted to go through some security details, including digits 2 and 3 of my PIN to access the account - never disclose PIN numbers of parts of it - All very suspicious....
This number went through to a pre-recorded message claiming it was from Vodafone Basingstoke. I went into the Vodafone shop and enquired. ....and they had no knowledge of the number. They use a mobile if they ever have to contact customers. The number is a Basingstoke number but nothing to do with Vodafone.
