Seems to be a genuine number for the Kent and Canterbury Hospitals Trust. It is a contact number for the switchboard under Contact us on their website, which is: - https://www.ekhuft.nhs.uk Despite the above comment it has become easier for scammers to obtain numbers and appear to be calling from a genuine number. Voice over protocol simplifies this and the government backed switchover to this system in 2025 will make it even simpler. It is now possible, for example, to appear to be calling from Edinburgh while actually telephoning using a Kent number.

This is the Kent and Canterbury Hospital calling. However, I have also known scammers get into main telephone numbers to cover. I have had one on the councils phone number call me and then said I have had an accident, when I hadn’t.
