I’ve had the same message, maybe we worth both in an unknown Argos at the same trying to spend the same amount exactly!! I think not… spoke to Barclays who confirmed no such activity, ego it’s a SCAM!!
Same message and same amount. I don't even bank with Barclays! Obviously fishing.
Identical message here too. Same retailer, same amount. No messages inside Barclays appp so this is a fraud attempt. Thanks for commenting with your info!

I have messaged from privet numeber and 01224 459534 was given to call Barclays because there is an attempt Barclays: A purchase of £549.99 to Argos was attempted today at 14:35. Not expecting this? Call us urgently on 01224 459534
