Scam call. Claimed to be from sky tv and broadband. I told them I don’t want either and they claimed to be calling about my account. I said I don’t have one and they hung up.
They called me out of the blue. They claimed we were with Sky, and asked for me by name. They didn't have my Email address claiming they were in the promotions department. I gave it to them, along with my address. It didn't reveal any more information their end. What they did do was send me an Email, The amount we paid per month was not accurate. And the revised charges would be reduced by 40% While searching for the relevant information they dropped the line. Usual communications are from an address ending .sky The Email ended .com We believe it to be an attempted scam.
