I received a missed call from this number approx. 14:45 hrs on Wednesday 24th June 2026, they did not leave a voicemail, I went through my call list to see what calls I had missed as I am working nights this week and saw this number and returned the call to mainly find out who was calling me. They answered with a prerecorded message stating that they were experiencing high call volume and to either stay on the line or hang up and they would call me back. Personally, I have no idea who this is as a company or what they are calling about, I am assuming it may be something to do with investing money with a fake trading platform and they will help in recovering the money taken, I have experienced a lot of calls relating to the afore situation over the last week. Secondly in my assumption, I think that when you call back and they stick you in the "High Call Volume" scenario, this is intended to keep you on the telephone call for as long as possible so that the call costs you more than it should which then benefits them financially, but I could be wrong. My next steps are to block this number alongside all the others.
