Told me they were from EE, and they were upgrading my service to 5G. Said I had to be at home next day to receive the new SIM card. Repeatedly asked me for my email address, so they could "confirm" it. I just hung up.
Said they were From EE that I was going to be upgraded from 4 g to 5 g plus and they would deactivate my phone and I had to be at home tomorrow. I said I couldn't and they would have to do it in a week. I asked for confirmation in writing that they wouldn't deactivate until I had received the new SIM card. They waffled. Then sent me a text looking like it was from EE with a code to give them. Message grom EE says not to give out the code and gives another number to call. When I said I wouldn't give him a code and he would have to tell me another way around it he got shirty and threatening that I would be cut off. Eventually after an argument i hung up.
He said he was from EE and I needed to renew my sim so asked for full name and DOB. He had an English accent at first and then diluted into an Indian accent.
Rang for a short time and disconnected
