Called a business claiming to be British Gas- claiming our meter readings were wrong. Didn’t seem legitimate and lady was rude on the phone

Person claiming to be calling from British gas to make an appointment for an engineer to visit our business site in order to check the gas meter. However very suspicious that they are asking for the meter number over the phone.
