Scam don't answer or call back

Text message saying they're from the FCA and that it's a security notice for potential fraud. Told me to call the number they provided.

1. Contact by text message saying: "Action fraud identified possible exposure of your personal information. Please call: 08001120840 immediately. Never share PINs or passwords." 2. When calling they pretend they have a report saying your card has been accessed. 3. They want you to confirm your account balance. Then I was transferred to the supervisor. 4. They ask you then what types of accounts you have and ask you to transfer all your money to one account so they can secure this account. They even allocate some reference numbers to make it look official. 5. They try to talk you through the securing process. But in this process I should accept a withdrawal request, which I did not. Please be careful! This is clearly a SCAM!

Message said fraud alert and my details are being used, told to call the number. I didn't. Just checking here.

Fake text saying my personal information had been leaked from the FCA

Received text message purporting to be from "FCA" and to call this number. I immediately did NOT call that number. Obvious scam attempt.

Unsolicited message purporting to be from the FCA saying my personal details had been compromised and to contact them on this number. Quick Google - it's a complete scam! Reported!

Thanks for the update, I received the same message acting as the FCA regarding my account being hacked.

Text message claiming to be the FCA reporting personal information breach. Number listed to call didn't match the freephone listed for the FCA, contacted on the real number and asked. The FCA never contact individual victims of breaches or use text to do so, it's 100% a scam and one the operator said has become very common.
