Don't get angry, even though it's annoying. Have fun seeing how long you can keep them on the phone by just making up answers to their questions. If they ring back, try to beat your previous best! And for people who say " Don't be mean, they're just doing their job" Well, they should get a different job. Unfortunately, they probably didn't listen at school.
Received a miss call on wednesday no voice mail left. Received a miss call yesterday no voice mail left. Received another miss call today and no voice mail left. I don't know the number so won't answer the phone to them. looked the number up came across this site and after reading the comments have block the number. Scammers need to be stopped its not right they get away with it all.
Received a missed call from this number ... no message left. Looked up number, this site ... read comments have blocked number.
Received a call on my mobile. I answered but did not speak. A woman's voice on the other end saying 'hello'. I hung up, Googled and saw that they're linked to scam calls so have blocked accordingly!
Supposed customer feedback call from bank. 100% SCAM.
Asked to speak with stated individuals (myself or wife); stated carrying out a survey on my bank account - told him I never discuss bank details and put phone down.
Knew my business name, telephone number and asked for my wife by name, saying she had been into the bank and wanted feedback (calling themselves 'Motif'). She had not. Scam. Where are they getting this information?
In other words the caller is a random person/organisation that no-one in their right mind would want to give their personal information to!!
Harassing calls 3 times today - no one spoke first two times and the third time they asked for myself by name. Do not answer as it's a scam
total scam, number cloned. Banks or any reputable companies do not hire 3rd world handlers for customer surveys of any kind. DO NOT PASS ANY DETAILS OR INFO ABOUT YOURSELF TO THESE SCAMMERS. CONTACT M.P. AN START WEARING THEM DOWN TO GET UK TELECOMS TO START POLICING CALLS FROM THESE SCAMMERS. STAY SAFE.
Called twice during the day. Was unable to pick up. No message left.
DANGEROUS. Knew where I had been and with what account etc.. These were cash transactions inside a bank!
Another 2 calls from this number just now.... is now blocked. Not a problem as either ignore or decline as I do not recognise the number....
Three calls from this number today. Answer service picked up the calls and invited them to leave a message. No message left. Blocked the number.
Apparently telephoning to do a survey on a bank. Beggars belief - Didn't advise any details and not intending to answer again. If it is genuine (and the jury is out on that one) some bank is wasting a lot of money on surveys.
When they want information from you and won't give positive identification of themselves - it's a scam.
This caller claimed to be asking about the householder's insurance. I don't think a genuine insurance provider would be calling a private home at 7.20 p.m. in the evening and therefore think this is a suspicious nuisance call.
What I found interesting, that No matter HOW savvy a Scamming Thief is,..... HOW Do they KNOW that You've walked into a particular Bank.... Today?? You see I Did Actually Walk in to the Bank, But I Forgot the envelope bills and other stuff at home, therefore I walked back out, I didn't GO to the counter, and they weren't guessing, because They Knew the accounts I HAD......So, somebody had to Tell themni was there....how else then....
Rang 26th & 27th July 2021.Ignored the call.
That number saying they were from the TSB, Told them to get lost! BANKS NEVER RING YOU for Feedback
Rang today. Knew my name. Said asking about TSB products and services. I said I wasn't interested
You can still get unsolicted calls, it's known as number crunching. My phone provider allows me to block these calls free of charge.
Sorry but it's not the interviewers fault if he is given the wrong information by his bank, please be a little more sensitive as they are just doing their job. Thanks.
I would definitely recommend a call blocking phone. I have been using one for over a year now and can honestly say that it takes a big worry about scammers of my mind.
Just received a call from a Scottish speaker guy who claimed he was calling on behalf of my bank re a telephone banking survey. As I have not made any calls to my bank told him that he had the wrong number and that I wished him to delete the number. He then said 'you have not made any calls to your bank' and I suggested that he get his facts straight before calling me. I disconnected the call
If you have been called by Motif on this number then it is NOT a scam, purely all they want is feedback on the service you have received from a specific company. Please don't spread nonsense as they are only trying to do their job! Motif is an independent market research company that have many clients that they do feedback surveys on behalf of. They can also not say the name of the bank or company until they know it is the customer they are speaking to purely due to customer confidentiality reasons!
I got a call from 08000803242 number and he asked for my name and said he had called from a bank, which my gut said it was a scam call and hence disconnected

Man called asking to speak to my wife re _my_ business banking. Would not give their name or company, nor that of my bank. Would not discuss with me. Pushy and arrogant. Pretending to hide under data protection. Kept talking when told to go away. Clearly crooks.
Answered with my full name then they hung up. Regret answering with my name now... I highly suspect they’re phishing
Twice now two days running had this number call asking for feedback on my bank
08000803242 rang tonight at 19.30pm asking to speak to my husband about a transaction on his bank account. Left him speaking and put the phone down
Claimed to be from my bank wanting to do a satisfaction survey. When I asked them which bank they represented they just hung up. Believe this is a scam, when did you ever hear of a bank interested in customer satisfaction anyway!
I to have had these calls over the last few days it annoys me, as I'm ex-directory. But I have by if you don't change your company, as but have a number that you can call to have these numbers stopped, I have also received scam calls regarding my bank, it's an automated call to start with then a Indian comes on, and bingo they ask questions, concerning you doing internet banking. Don't answer it it's a full blown scam, and this new one is about hidden hearing. I got the message, as I looked at a site near my home in Derbyshire. It's unreal they must be stopped. Join the TPS they should also put a halt to these calls. I hope you manage to stop them, ps if your mobile company is EE be very careful it is owned by BT, my landline, so every time I now top up my mobile, I suddenly start getting scam messages. On landline the last number was as you suspect 08000803242, put it straight into spam.
Said he was from the bank at 19-15 hung up on him
A very English woman called, and said they were conducting a survey on Lloyds Bank Business Banking and would I help. Just said no and she rung off without further comment.

Keeps ringing landline. Suspected scammer, letting answer phone pick up call. No message left, of course. Must buy one of thoughs call blockers..
I had missed calls 3 times ...I answered women asked for my husband said she was from bank doing survey. . I didn't get into conversation. .think it scam ..would like to know where they getting information from ?
Sound like scammers 2calls today asking if I visited bank Friday
They barrage people with messages on some numbers and there motives seem to be to unnerve people .My best guess is its sponsored by a small minded petty malicious deceitful organisation who seem to like the receivers of the call to be unnerved by giving the call center private information.Id imagine they have some kind of govt backing as the information is often private and involving banks, accounts or services
I constantly get calls from this number, harassing cold calls
DO NOT ENGAGE IN ANY CONVERSATION AS You might become another victim of one of countries most played out bank fraud by phone.
Called, left no message, calling number wrongly presented on Voice over Internet Phone.
Caller said he was getting feedback about staff following a visit to a bank in a town I never visit. They knew my name and my bank name, but hung up after I was vague in confirming anything. Suspicious. Their phone number says they are from www.thisismotif.com, at least that is what it sounds like, some kind of marketing company, but the phone number could be actually for a different outfit.
I answered a call from this number yesterday, the guy said he was calling from my bank and asked me to confirm which bank it was 'for security reasons'. I informed him that he was scum and that what he is doing is disgusting but he still persisted to ask me the name of my bank. I terminated the call after telling him to _ _ _ _ off!
Wanted me to confirm my name without telling me who he was. So asked him and he told me he was from a firm doing a survey for my bank! I don't think so! I told him so and refused to tell him anything about my bank. Since blocked this number.
Called saying they were R B S
Phoned by these, asked if I had visited my bank on Friday (They seemed to know which bank, unless it was a lucky guess!). Mentioned something about a survey in relation to said visit. Told them I couldn't remember if I had been to bank of not. Ended the call. Phoned back...its a scammer trying to get people's details. # HEADS UP......phone the number they tell you of a website to visit....Do so at your peril Don't accept their calls or be fooled.....I nearly was
Hiding as Halifax customer service very negative person on the phone very cagey
repeat calls at 6.10 pm asking for my husband, refuses to say why other than survey from his bank re a recent transaction, refused to say which bank quoting data protection , I pointed out that was nonsense as I had not phoned them they had phoned me and I had no intention of getting my husband to take a call without knowing who he was speaking to and why and put the phone down. We are ex directory so should not be getting unsolicited calls
