answered and claimed to be from 3 mobile, spoke extremely fast in a indian (or something like that) accent and tried to take my bank details for a “restored purchase”

Claimed to be from 3uk could barely understand him but he said lots of complaints from 3 customers and trying to refund or sell me something, clearly a scammer wanting to get my details.

Said they were from Sky to discuss the recent interruption in service (which there has been) said they wanted to refund me for the recent issue with my broadband - my broadband is not provided by sky. I'm sure they'd have been asking for bank/card details in order to 'refund me'. Definitely not a legitimate caller.

They call numbers in a database. If you pick up, they hang up after a few seconds, your number has now been marked active, this simply means more scammers will call you as your number is real and in use
