Claimed to be calling from “UK Health Association”. Did not seem like a genuine caller who was trying to ask a lot of personal questions.

Called today claiming to be from Public Health England - I am aware there is a group of scammers targeting doctors and claiming to be from PHE, BMA, GMC etc, therefore I was immediately sceptical and asked how they got my number and why they were calling; they quickly hung up. Be aware to not engage with these individuals for too long or provide ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answers - apparently they are trying to record our voices for AI / voice recognition password purposes.

They kept calling all day either hung up or advised they’re from Standard Life and that I have a policy with them. Which we don’t so I hung up.

Said they were called from Dept of Health. Was I vaccinated? Did I have a reaction? Did I have a card? Then moved on to was my health insurance up to date. When I questioned why DH needed to know this, they hung up. Blocked.

Sounded like a female, didn’t answer when I said hello twice. I could just hear them breathing, her clearing her throat, general noise in the background and then the call ended.
