I've just answered a call from this number, and it was a heavily accented gent, telling me that they have compensation to pay back to me from previous car finance. He got very irate when I wouldn't confirm my details and I argued about the fact that I had not contacted them and asked them to look into car finance refunds for me etc. He said 'OK, so you don't want your compensation back then!' and hung up on me, haha. Blocked now.

Claim to be from Blackhorse, will text you a dodgy link and ask you to stay on the call while you go on it and sign the screen! All the details they hold are 8-10 years out of date!

Claimed to be from HP and knew my name and employer. Gave me an incorrect email address which was probably them just fishing for correct details. Likely scam/phishing attempt.

Knew my first name, said they were Tarm. Wouldnt say why they were calling & had to speak to (my name). I wouldn't say it was me until I knew what the call was about. Hung up & blocked.
