0345 313 0337 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Got a call from this number today. Told caller that I was registered with TPS and was ex-directory - his response was that this did not matter as he was calling from Populus to do market research and was exempt. I will leave you to guess what my response was to this!

This number just phoned but I didn't answer

they have called me several times, I haven't answered any. Last one was at 11:40 today.

This number phoned my phone twice @ 11.05am and 13.22pm I dnt know who they are

Phone me on a Sunday morning - carrying out a survey. Asked where they got my number from and told that it was randomly generated. When challenged with regard to Telephone Preference Service the caller knew nothing about it so I suggested that they go and talk to their manager about the legitimacy of these calls.

Just received a call from this number. The lady said she was from a company called populus and was conducting market research. I told her to take me off their list as i do not answer market research questions. I then blocked the numbervas it was in my mobile.

They rang my Republic of Ireland mobile number so obviously they don't mind making international calls. Don't answer unknown numbers as a rule, so there!

I Did not answer the phone

Rang 10am this morning (Sunday) Thankfully mobile was on silent. Have rang twice again and each time I've told them I'm interested in answering their survey. Now blocked on mobile.

Just had this number call - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will now be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. This is one explanation for the silent treatment from any real person (low-lifeform) at the other end. Another reason for silence is that the outfit calling you allows automatic non-human random dialling without ensuring an advisor is there to answer you when you reply. Simply don’t do it: let the phone ring until the other end gets fed up and ends the call, then dial 1471 and note down the number. Google it to see what scum has tried to get you to allow them to waste your time and stress you out to boot. In my own case a good 95% and more calls are in this category. One day I’m going to live in a world where all such useless lowlifes are sent to a remote planet in outer space and quarantined there.

I worked for Populus. This is a genuine research call, no sales involved at all. They get mobile numbers from a database, where you may have used you number in a form somewhere. Just pick it up and ask them to remove it from the database and they'll comply. ps. TPS only restricts calls from sales companies, not market research. So it's compliant with laws erc. And Ex directories don't work.

SICK TO DEATH OF REPORTING THESE B#%TARDS! Constantly calling when been asked politely to take us OFF their data base! We're Ex directory & TPS registerd,so obtaining & using our details is illegal! When are they going to be shut down & take to task-Pure harassment now!

SICK OF REPORTING THESE! & them phoning at REGULAR INTERVALS! We are Ex directory & TPS registers-SO OBVIOSLY THEIR TOOTHLESS & WORTHLESS! As to obtain & then use our private details is malpractice & illegal. Why then whenever politely asked that were taken OFF their data base (WE SHOULDNT BE ON!) do they KEEP calling?! They SAY THEY WILL take us OFF their data base-Surely that's a verbal contract ?! Why are they so persistent & interested in U.S. With their survey?=WELL DODGY!

Fed up with all unwanted calls something should be done about all these intrusive callsj.

Had two calls today from this number. They have rung me before but obviously a while ago as I haven't had any nuisance calls in a while. It came up as WOT ( I mark Waste Of Time calls as WOT). Quite a few reports of nuisance calls on this number when I checked so I have never answered

I got a call from this number regarding a survey but when I asked where they got my number they couldn't tell me

This company is causing a lot of trouble. One way I find is to put the number in your phone and record it as "do not answer" then you know it is just a nuisance call and not worry. It works for me anyway.

Been calling me once a week for a few weeks now. I believe it's a survey company.

keep receiving calls from this number on my house phone also leaving messages saying its about PPI or an accident

Rang me at 20.55 (same time exactly as an earlier person posting here) and then hung up. I've blocked.

This number rings me constantly ive answered a couple of times they start by saying they have info ive been in an accident when i say no they change to ppi then home and car insurance! Ive blocked the number but somehow they still manage to get through! Its driving me mad

Got a call from Populus this afternoon (Sunday). Told them, I am not interested and asked them not to call again. They have agreed to put me on their "Do Not Call List". If they do call again, I shall revert to my standard defence of maximum abuse.

Just answer it and leave on side and say nothing, it costs them they will soon get the hint

This number has called me twice a day every day! last night they called me at 20:55 asking me to do a survey regarding voting, which would last between 5-7 minutes. I told them I wasn't interested and not to call again.

ang my mobile. asked how they got my number told me it was randomly generated. I said I would randomly end the call. They had also said they were conducting a survey in my area - on a mobile number??? Just which area am I in! Lol
