This number belongs to a company called Verus associates, they called me about 4 months ago about ppi, i foolishly got sucked in to there sales patter, they asked me for my credit card details which i gave as they said they were debiting 1 pound for a credit check. I then find out they took £500 off my card without telling me i have been trying to get my money back ever since Verus associates are a scam stay away guys do not listen to there lies and do not give them credit card details. Just received a call from this number - after him asking for me to provide a statement of my pension, including the account number so an advisor could assess whether I was being charged excessive fees on a frozen pension, I got suspicious. I therefore asked for his contact details - Kevin from the Pension Review Centre in Leeds. Upon searching online for them, I couldn't find anything so I highly suspect this is a scam.

This number claims to be from the Pension Audit Company. Had my surname wrong and just went on and on about people being charged excessive fees on pensions. He didn't really get to the point. Just said that he was linked to a network of Financial Advisors. I ended up hanging up on him

Okay little more research and I found this info for this number. On another website a user wrote. This number is associated with unsolicited calls from a company purporting to be the Pension Audit Company - no such company is registered with Companies House. The number does not appear to be registered to a traceable legitimate company. A complaint has been lodged with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and a report forwarded to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO). The ICO are the government body responsible for enforcing the Privacy and Electronic (EC Directive) Communications Regulations 2003.
