Voicemail at 8pm pretending to be from Lloyds Bank fraud team. Did not return call but checked my account & everything ok. Definite scam, they sound very convincing though. Number blocked
First it started with two texts one purporting to be Lloyds You will shortly receive a text from Lloyds bank to confirm recent activity on your card ending (and they did quote the last 4 numbers) If you dont repsond to the text we may decline further card payments. If someone ever cals in person to tell you to answer 'yes to our text, or give them a passcode, hang up, It's not us, it;s a fraudster. Then I get a text from +44 7883 306287 Please be awarethat you need to respond or we'll decline future card payments. Lloyds Bank has noticed your Lloyds Credt card ending (numbers given) was used on 17-11-2023 05:12:07, at AMZN Digital for £25.00. This payment was declined. If this was your reply YES, otherwise reply NO. I have then been called constantly on the mobile and landline with a number of +44 333 345 9535. The did leave an answer phone message the first time It starts saying any Barclay then cuts in saying it is Lloyds Bank Fraud Team gave full account name and said about card fraud. The numbers to call back were 0333 045 9535 and text phones 0800 056 3874. When you check on the Lloyds Bankt site the Fraud phone numbers are nothing like this. It is a very good scam, so please be careful
