Claiming to be from TSB . Gave my husbands name and said the call was about a recent payment. Native English speaking voice. No background noise. I said I would call bank directly. she offered the number for me to call. That number was similar to the original 03330063933 but ended in 2200. She gave me a ref number for me to quote. It was very convincing. Always the right thing to do is call the bank yourself. It’s painfully slow navigating the menus and then waiting to speak to a human but I’m grateful to Who-calls me. I’ve reported it to the bank and seeing a similar report here, confirms it was an attempted scam.
