Called up asking to speak to someone, my number is connected to, in social housing appparently re. repairs. When I asked the person in that house seperately, they had no repairs booked. Caller claimed to be from a housing authority but couldn't say which and said they got my number from a national database. Started quoting landlord legal acts, which came across as trying to sound official and over compensatory Could not say who they represented other than a housing association and that they operate nationally. Without much doubt it is a scam wanting your personal details to start that process.
