I had the same phone call as those mentioned here this morning. I thanked her for her help and said I would walk over to the depot at lunch, she quickly hung up.

Asian lady claiming I had post being held in London due to being sent without a stamp. She said she would send me a text to follow instructions to get my parcel. I quickly searched the number while on the phone and saw this feed. When i told her i know this is a scam she hung up. She knew my full name.

Asian lady claiming that I have a parcel (or "safe box" containing two items) which can't be delivered and is being held in London. She knew my full name. Asked for my postcode and I said I'd call the Royal Mail myself in case it is a scam call, she then immediately ended the call

An Asian lady pretended to be the Royal Mail to tell me they had a parcel held at the depot and to explain how to get it delivered once I had paid. As soon as I said the Royal Mail don’t usually ring me to tell me, they hung up.
