Had a missed call from this number I have special needs I dont need scanners on the other end

I stupidly submitted my details to an online competition site and the next thing ... CALLS AFTER CALLS from this number and every other number you can think off. A complete scam tempting the vulnerable with offers that never ever exist. Remember, if it's too good to be true then it ISN'T TRUE! Best advice - BLOCK THIS NUMBER immediately. Kindest regards.

Same as previous comments. Lady calls telling me that I have won a £20 fuel voucher but before she could take my details to send it to me she tells me the call is being recorded and that she has another fantastic, "no obligation" offer of over £200 pounds worth of vouchers to send me in a magazine. So I let her go through her script of buzz words, that was designed and put together in such an attractive way that it would be like, pollen to bees. I cut her off at the latter stages when she was reiterating that " it was completely free from obligation. It would cost £17 (something) a year for this magazine with over £200 worth of vouchers, we send the magazine out to you and you can cancel at anytime within 14 days. And all you have to do is give us the long card number from your payment card, you don't have to give us the valid from and to numbers or the last three digits off the back, THAT WAY ITS COMPLETELY SECURE FOR YOU and we can't take anything until the bank authorises it through you" I said I wasn't happy to give any of my card details over the phone but I'd be happy to set up a direct debit (that way I know I could cancel it through the guarantee as soon a it was set up) but no, she kept going over the same bit of script that the safest way was to give them the long card number. I just "thanked" her for her time and said it was time to be the call after 12 minutes of her/my time.

Call several times a day Very annoying and also trying to tell me that I have one certain competitions that I have never heard off.

Got a call from this number previouly, didn't know it so google and found this information. So when they called again saying they are from 'Sapphire Magazine' and went into the big long you have won fuel card, magazine, vouchers ........ect i just let them rattle on answering yes and no if they paused for a break in their telephone script (which they don't often). When they got to the card detail bit, asked why? So they had to go all through the script again and still asked why they wanted the card details, to be truthful I was getting a little bit fed up by this stage. So I said, well hopefully you rattling on to me about your little scam has kept so other poor soul from being bothered by your call and maybe giving you them details. To which the lady on th other end the phone nearly exploded........ Think she relised that she had been caught so put the phone down. Best idea is to play them at their own game....... soon give up.
