Answered the phone, then a had a 5 second delay for their response, which usually means they’re just spam calling tons of numbers until one connects and then suddenly they have to actually speak. The lady was an Indian sounding lady, and the back ground noise from the “call centre” was absolutely atrocious. She claimed she was calling from EE mobile. Only problem for her, I used to work for EE, and I know that All their call centres are UK based, and that the back ground noise level in the call would be unacceptable for EE to tolerate. Plus the number wasn’t and EE call centre number. All that combined makes me think it’s a scam/fraud call trying to take advantage of unaware folks.
