told me they were from EE and i was getting a 30% discount because i paid on time and a loyal customer....I hung up and they called me back from a completely different number

from Vodafone, told me I'm a valued customer and I'm due a discount because I always pay my bill on time, told him I'm pay as you go so I don't get a bill. He said ohhhh told him to do one n hung up. Sounded like he was in a wind tunnel as well
