1st call they told me they were from carphone warehouse. 2nd time they called they told me they were from o2 . They get a piece of my mind every time they call.
It is Carphone Warehouse and, if you answered the call you would know and be able to tell them you did not want to upgrade or receive further calls. Simple as that. I was due for upgrade today, and was intending to upgrade through them again (I had upgraded in their store 2 years ago and they were far easier, professional and knowledgeable than the O2 store next door! Cheaper too!). I received a call from them today (I had already researched and knew I was going to upgrade through them today in their store). I have upgraded with them by phone today and will colllect the phone in my allocated store tomorrow. Job done. I could have upgraded directly with O2 but the phone would have cost me £19.99 upfront and the contract cost would have been £32.50 per month directly with O2 as opposed to £27.50 via Carphone Warehouse. The only difference is that I will not be on O2 Refresh but I am not bothered about that. So, the answer is, answer their call and tell them you are not interested in upgrade or any product from them if that is the case. Simples:)
This number called me today.. Asking if it was ok to discuss my recent order of a phone.. When I said I'd received an email.. They hung up.. Err.. I'm pretty sure customer service is a must have now days?..
I have also had calls from this number during similar timescales as the comments above. I get around 5 calls a day which is very irritating. I am overdue for an upgrade and even though I am happy with my phone at the moment they will not give up trying. This feels like harrassment and is driving me mad that they are so insistent. I'm not impressed Carphone Warehouse!
My experience has been similar to those mentioned below. They have been phoning endlessly and I don't know how to block the number. It's tantamount to psychological bullying!
Get calls from this number every day. My phone contract is up for renewal and I have had unsolicited phone calls from all in the telephone world and its friend!! I missed the first call from this number and no message was left so I felt it was a sales pitch. Have not picked up that number since. Have counted 30 missed calls on my phone in two or three weeks. Do not think I will go back to Carphone warehouse!!
These people are driving me insane! They have called me 6 times today, first call was at 9.45am and the last was 19.41pm! Not impressed!!
