Caller claimed to be from Virgin Money. Said a fraudulent transaction was attempted as an IKEA purchase on my card and they stopped it. The caller has rung me twice before as a withheld number claiming the same thing - it's a scam to get access to your banking app.
called by withheld number purporting to be Bonk of Scotland fraud and talking about a suspect transaction on my Denit Card and telling me to call this number with a supposed reference number. This number impersonated BOS and was set up to harvest card/account number. There had been no suspect transaction attempted on my card it was a scam to harvest personal info for identity fraud. Crooks run this number - BEWARE
