The caller claimed to be from Bosch and offered an extended warranty for my washing machine at a discounted rate of £9.93 per month. When I said I needed time to make a decision, he attempted to shame me by saying that people living in London wouldn’t hesitate to spend such a small amount. That comment immediately raised red flags and made it clear the call was not legitimate.
