Introduced herself as Jackie from Dampguard UK, based in London and working with several local authorities. Wouldn't give any further info until I confirmed that I was the homeowner, so I hung up and blocked all future calls from this numher.
I'd suggest this is an 'unwelcome' (spam or more sinister) attempt from India. There are a block of numbers (including this) that are masquerading as emanating from London. The relatively short ring is a typical giveaway together with the recent number of random recipients checking it out, no 2nd call and NOT listed anywhere. I'd just ignore it but treat it with caution!!
Hung up as soon as I answered.
Hung up on hearing voicemail message
Hung up and didn't leave a message
Called me at 1:28 am. No answer. Don't know who is this.
This number called me at 01.19 in the morning. Didn't answer but must be a scam as I don't know anyone in London and no message left
