Called and didn't leave message. Potential scam or recruiter that's not great.
Got missed call. Didn't leave voicemail. Not calling back as obviously not urgent if they didn't leave voicemail.
Scam call centre based in India. Called after working hours and kept saying they could not hear properly when being asked clear questions about where they found my information, and who they were recruiting on behalf of. They do these scams to get you to interact with them and send them an email so that they can send hidden spyware in their emails and so that they can get even more information when you send them a reply by email. DO NOT INTERACT, END CALL AND BLOCK NUMBER
tried to call several times, call one after another, UK number calling to another country, no way this can be serious, without first sending an email and agree on an appointment.
These guys are legit. HCL Technologies are an Indian based recruiter. I have worked for them before in Hampshire.
I got similar calls after I posted my cv on https://www.reed.co.uk/. Voice mail left but no recording. Mostly Indian rec agency.
Got two missed calls. Called back and ended up getting their voicemail. Person by the name of "Babu" someone. I suspect it's a small local recruitment company that isn't very professional and sourced my number from somewhere they should not have.
Called about a job vacancy with HCL technologies. Sounded very legit except they had a thick Indian accent which is what alerted me to it as most recruitment agents are locals. They also wanted me to attach my “visa” didn’t know what a BRP was and didn’t know different visa types in UK which is strange for someone working in the recruitment industry in UK. Pretty sure this is a scammer trying to get my details
Got missed call. Didn't leave voicemail. Not calling back as obviously not urgent if they didn't leave voicemail. Probably a recruiter, but not a very professional one since no vm
