Called University where i work apparently it was HMRC wanting to talk to HR ! I knew straight away it was a scam

On behalf of HMRC from the IFS (?) conducting a survey about employees working overseas, did give the option to opt out of future surveys and follow ups, and also offered to provide me with his credentials

They introduced themselves as HMRC. When I asked again if they were HMRC they then said they were calling on behalf of HMRC. I told them nobody here to deal with it. Lets see if they ring back.

Get called at least once a day, cuts off after a few rings and leaves no message. Assuming it’s spam and blocking

Answered the phone, there was no sound from the other end before it cut off.
