Called 3 times within a couple of hours. When I called the number back my there was a recorded message with my full name given - purporting to be from Halifax bank querying a debit card transaction (with the voice sounding very similar to the Halifax ladies voice). Did not proceed any further with the instructions the message gave.
Two calls within an hour - gave my full name, asked me to press any key to get through to an operator to discuss a potential fraudulent transaction. I didn’t follow instructions as I’ve already been scammed for a large amount a few years ago 🤨
Said they were from my Bank - Crime Prevention, said it was reference to an online card payment - Total Scam after your hard earned monies please be aware - English sounding lady pre-recorded message and then you get through to a foreign speaking gentleman.
This number called me 4 times in less than 24 hours. I didn't recognise the number so didn't answer. My phone flagged it as potential fraud.
Seemed very legit had my last 4 of my card and everything but is a scam as they were asking me to call lloyds bank on a number that isn't theirs
Sent a text asking if I bought something from xyz company, then kept calling to pretend yo be my bank
Called me in the evening stating they were from Lloyds Bank and asking me to call back on this number. Clearly not a Lloyds Bank number, but it was a recorded message sounding very similar to the recorded Lady on Lloyds messages. Doesn't help that you can't actually call Lloyds up anymore and speak to anyone to report things!
