Phishing - wanted to know if I'd been in an accident in the last two years. Claimed to have £1600 from the other driver's insurance. I haven't been in an accident

Yeah saying 40% discount lol, I couldn’t understand him at all 😂

Caller claimed they were from O2 and sent me two texts with the pretence of offering 40% discount on my bill. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE VERIFICATION CODE SENT IN THE SECOND TEXT. When I spoke to O2 on 202, they told me they are aware of this scam and, if you give the scammers the code, they can access your ‘My O2’. The 0203 scam number rang me back twice until I blocked them. BEWARE - REAL SCAM! (Sure, it was a south Asian sounding person - besides the point in my opinion; scammers come in every size and shape!)
