Femail with Indian Accent . She asked for my late wife by name and knew my address.I asked who was calling. She said she was from the NHS and offering panic alarms for over 60's I gave her no information and I said "You have the wrong address and name". She took my new fake name and address and said if I was over 60 I could have one. I then finished the call.
Indian accent pretending to be NHS offering an emergency kit to call NHS - I suggested he should try his mobile - LOL
Called today did not answer. Too many of these scam calls... third today !!
Claimed to be from the Energy Centre and offering to do a free survey of our property. Asked for information about insulation and when I said I had to go and asked for a phone number, she said "Let's leave it at that".
Energy saving company, female voice. Southern uk accent
Call was filtered out as a 'spam' call by my phone, which sent it to the answer machine. No message left, so can't say for certain if the call was a scammer, but from experience of these calls, (I get a LOT! 😡), I'm 99.9% sure it is, especially after reading the other comments.
