Did not answer as phone said possible scam
I am a priority user of my electricity company. There was a power cut locally a few days ago which affected my property. During and after the power cut I received an unanswered call and voicemail message telling me what was going on and when service was expected to be resumed. The call i received was market research from a Market Research Society (MRS) accredited company asking questions about the service I received and my experience of the power cut and how UK Power Networks dealt with the fault. I used to work for MORI Opinion Polls (Now IpsosMORI) and am totally confident this company is legitimate. No funny questions, nothing suspicious at all, the agent who called even did the irritating stuff as dictated by the MRS Code of Conduct like repeatedly asking questions when only the 'iterations' are relevant - you know "on a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is totally disatisfied and 10 is totaly satisfied how would your rate...(iteration)". All done by the book and I used to interview MP's, Atomic scientists, Insurance experts, FTSE 50 directors, blah blah blah
Thecaller said she was from "Explain" on behalf of the National Grid, at which point I put the phone down.
Did not answer, googled the number after as phone suggest it was spam
