Said they were from Utility network and I had credit on my energy I asked them to confirm who my current energy supplier is and they couldn’t answer. Really bad signal on the call could tell it was a scam straight away.
They said they were from a telecoms company and was I having issues with the signal. I said "oh goody a scam call" and told them I was already listening to two scammers being scambaited on YouTube so didn't need to listen to another one and hung up. So funny
Telephone contract scam
Keep calling and never leave a message
Said they were from British Gas- very sharp tone. When I asked for a name, they weren't willing to give one or a good reason for calling. When offered an email they could send information to, they hung up.
Calling to say they were from EON Next. Trying to send us paperwork for new electricity contract. Never been with EON Next complete scam.
