Bristol Street motors. A courtesy call after a car service.
Follow up call from Vertu Motors after a service offering a service plan. Fair enough reason for a call.
They hung up as soon as I answered. Having read reviews above I’ll be letting Macklin Motors know I’m not amused. My car is booked in at Macklin for a service tomorrow.
Caller put phone down as soon as I said "hello". Can anyone explain what the purpose of that call was ?
The call is from Virtual motors, selling service plans. Fortunately, I had not long received a quote from an independent wanting £500+ for my Jag major service, Jaguar wanted £700 Virtual motors offered me 3 official Jag service from one of their Jag land rover dealers which included 2 major + 1 minor service + 3 MOT's which would have cost £2k anywhere else, and I got it for £1,100 , including all parts, labour, curtesy car etc.. So although these calls can be annoying, they can sometimes pay off.
I bought a car from BSM so I assume it's them as in the other comments. This followed a dreadful servicing experience, which by their logic I rated 10/10. On that basis, I guess they are trying to sell me a plan too! Yeah - a service plan on an Electric Vehicle... Not going to happen.
This number constantly ‘plants’ voicemails on my mobile. If they have something to say they should call and only leave a VM if no answer. That said, I would be telling them NOT to call again and remove my number from their data base. Very cowardly approach to just send voicemails. Not reputable business practice at all.
Bristol street motors line - I have received a number of calls and have no business with them - answerphone simply says that 'you are calling about a service plan'
Registered witb TPS but still getting nuisance calls!
Was a sales call from Bristol Street Motors selling monthly plans for future services. This came from a service I had recently at Vertu Honda who they are working woth. Caller was very polite. I explained I wasn't interested and he immediately said 'No problem, thanks for your time. If you change your mind please get in touch'. No hassle. Only called once so far.
Macklin Motors are using the same number for the same hard sell.
I've have calls on going for several weeks now and letters pestering me to sign up to Bristol Street Motors servicing plan. Pressure sales is very annoying. I've made it clear i'm not interested by not responding to the letters!
